| As the name suggests, off-the-shelf wheels are massed produced for mass consumption. They don’t take into account individual sensibilities like riding styles, rider weight, weekly mileage and a host of other specifics that make a significant difference to a wheel’s performance. Your only alternative to mass produced wheels is to work with a wheel builder which has always been a luxury due to their hands-on bespoke nature. What we have managed to do with the TWE-LineBreak collaboration is commission one of Australia’s leading wheel builders to produce an exclusive range of top-end wheels at realistic LineBreak prices. In conjunction with Greg Ryan of TWE and a team of LineBreak associated riders, we have developed four wheels that match the speed, durability and performance characteristics of all leading brands but with the ability to customise critical elements to suit each individual rider’s needs. Your customised TWE wheels will be built to suit your riding style whether you’re a climber, sprinter or rouleur with your weight being taken into account along with matching the look of your bike to ensure a stylish finish. Upon ordering your wheels, you will be contacted by a representative from LineBreak to establish the parameters of your wheel build before work commences. We will ask you to send us a photograph of your bike so we can colour match the rim decals and spoke nipples to your frame. The estimated time for a customised wheel build is 10 days plus delivery time. |
