Tell us about yourself

I began Race walking at 9 years of age, but not properly, although i did many state races for little athletics, Frankston, i was not all that serious about it. i have now trained for 2 years, and just this year alone i have improved over 10 minuets on my 5km time. my training consists of a few long walk sessions, gym sessions, swimming sessions and plenty of core workout programs. My coach Elke Raselli has helped a lot over my period with her, and she is to thank for my vast improvement. i really enjoy training, but i am heading into year 12, and unfortunately, i am not the best at time management but i am hoping to improve so i can succeed and get where i want to get.

Proudest Sporting Achievements

I have only this year started to compete in big races, and my first nationals "Australian Junior Championships", held in sydney, would be one of the most exciting and proudest times for me in this sport, but unfortunately it was most memorable in a bad way, the judges miss counted my laps and finished (pulled me off the track) early, and promised me the place i finished, then put me down as did not finish. I was allowed to do an invitational race the next day at the same time as the under 20 boys and girls, showing my stuff, and getting a huge 2 minute PB. after that i went to canberra for the annual, "lake burley griffin race walking carnival" and placed 7th respectively, with a flu and also picking an australian team bronze which was exciting because it was my first australian medal. But this year, my most proud moment, was taking my first state title, claiming gold in the under 18 secondary schools championships, also picking up a pb of 6.38min for 1500m walk, and this year i also claimed handicap point winner, time point winner and merrifield trophy winner at victorian race walking club.

What are you hoping to achieve

My ultimate goal is to compete at the Olympics, I would also like to compete at the Commonwealth Games, World Championships, world race walking cup, world juniors, and of course all the Australian national and state races again.

How does LineBreak help

I wear LineBreak all the time, at training and at home. They are great for recovery and reducing the risk of injury. They are also great wear to bed after a hard session. They also help to keep me warm during cold training sessions, especially in the winter. Line break generally cares what you think, and aren't just another product on the shelf, they try hard to please the people they support, and believe it's the athletes that make the company, not the money.

Second place at vic juniors last night, 24.40, season best time. Blacked out on the line as I have a middle ear infection.  Was with first place for the first 4km, right on his heals, but he pulled away at 1k to go, I was only 8sec behind, so I am fairly happy.

Than you for your ongoing support, I really appreciate it!!!! My racing shorts are starting to wear thin, I will tell you when they start getting too loose! :)

I Absolutley love line break!! Everything about the company is right on the money, delivery is fast, the products are great! And you do an amazing job!!

Thought I would inform you of my recent success at both secondary schools state championships (1500m track) and Victorian country championships (5000m track), placing 1st in both events.

I thought I should keep in touch, and inform you how my rehab style training is going. My back is finally starting to get some strength back into it, and if all goes well, I am going to start training next Friday.
Also, I competed at school state titles, with no training under my belt since march, and I am pleased to tell you that I won. :) in my linebreak break gear too. Haha.
My swimming is still going well, it has helped my back a lot!
