Tell us about yourself

I compete at local and state level. I train twice daily 5 days a week, once on saturday, sunday off. My training involves weights 4 nights per week, 3 runs per week (5-10km), an outdoor cardio session, weighted pack walks (10-15km) and 2-3 hydraulic weight circuits per week. Having broken my sternum playing football last year i have not competed recently. I am hoping to compete every 1-2 months now. Last year i began my own personal training and massage studio called Bio-Physiques located at Campbelltown (35mins west of Sydney). I run indoor and outdoor sessions each day. Power lifting involves 3 lifts; the squat, the dead lift and the bench press. The aim of the sport is to lift the most weight for a single repetition. The total weight lifted for an individual lift and all 3 lifts is calculated. Power lifting also has weight categories so it is imperative i keep my body fat/weight down.

Proudest Sporting Achievements

Power lifting Under 19's 90kg state champion. Running a half marathon. (I don't think many powerlifters do that). Beating every fitness requirement of the Australian commadoes (except the swimming, i didn't have army clothing to practice the fully clothed swim) Beating my 10 year older brother in an arm wrestle.

What are you hoping to achieve

Under 23's Australian Power lifting Champion for the 75kg category. Qualify for the Commonwealth powerlifting championship. Qualify for the World's bench press championship.

How does LineBreak help

It's been proven that a high level of cardio fitness allows an athlete to recover more quickly between sets of resistance training. Wearing linebreak gear during my training allows me to be the best i can and in turn improve to my full potential. Additional to this i wear linebreak gear in between my lifts (there is often a 15min rest between lifts in competition) to promote recovery. Because i am now training so often my body needs every help it can get. Increased recovery and lack of injury so i can maintain this schedule are two things linebreak compression clothing help me with. Improved thermoregulation during summer helps too.
