About Diego
I began Taekwondo in 2006 at a club in Brunswick Victoria. I began competing in Poomsae (technical) competitions also in 2008 after meeting my Wife Sarah during a sparring session at a grading. Together we competed in pair events as well as individual events. I am continuing to improve my technique and am continuing to compete and strive to be the best I can be. In December 2010 I graded and achieved my 3rd Dan Black belt level.

What are you hoping to achieve
Diego
After beginning Taekwondo with an Olympian from Sydney 2000 as my coach, I wanted to compete at National Championships. Since achieving that I was informed that I was able to compete at selection trials for World Championships. I always wanted to represent Australia and have a uniform with the Coat of Arms on it. Now I have been selected to represent Australia and have that uniform. I aim to be able to continue to compete at International events.
Sarah
I hope to be able to continue to improve my technique and compete at State and National levels and to qualify for future World Championships and other international Taekwondo Championships.
How does LineBreak help
Diego
I call it the ‘Silent achiever’ you can’t see it, but is does so much. Not only for my performance, but also very important for my recovery so I can continue to train, compete, improve and succeed.
SarahWith the increased amount of training both in the number of sessions and the intensity of my training leading up to competitions, I aim to be able to train as hard as I compete.
Fast muscle recovery is important for me so that I can continue to train each session just as hard as the previous. Wearing LineBreak at competitions allows me to continue to stay warm and ready to step up and perform in the next round.

After a 1 day stop over in Beijing and visiting the Great Wall of China, it was on to Vladivostok for training 3 times a day before the 3 day competition where Diego was competing on the 2nd day and Sarah on the final day.
Diego's Male 35+ team competed in the Semi-Finals for the first time of Australia competing at the championships and finished in 10th place overall. Sarah's female 14-35 team also for the first time in Australia's World Championship participation, in the semi-finals and finished 17th overall.
It was a successful and fantastic experience for us both.
In September 2011, we competed at the Australian Taekwondo Open on the Gold Coast.

With a number of great athletes attending, Diego finished the camp ranked number 1 in Australia and Sarah ranked number 3.
Next for Diego is competing at the New Zealand Taekwondo open in March. And both of us competing at the Victorian Open in May.
